This is a repository of printable flash cards, board games and more developed based on the Oroton Gillingham (OG) method of teaching.

The OG method teaches dyslexic children literacy skills in an explicit, structured and systematic manner. In order for the skills taught to be cumulative, I have split instruction across stages and will be creating resources and will be uploading them in the coming months. I aim to develop a quality library of OG resources that is accessible to all parents to help train their own children.

Stage 1 - s, a, t, p, i, n

Start at stage 1. This stage covers the sounds /s/, / ă/, /t/, /p/, /ĭ/, /n/ . There are flash cards that you can use to explicitly teach sounds and printable games to further reinforce these sounds. Once the student is thorough with these sounds, proceed to stage 2.

  • A4 blank sticker label to print ‘activity label’ provided in the files to stick on storage container for easy filing and retrieval of boxes. You can also print on regular paper and use sticky tape to tape it on the box
